baby b

So my plan to completely update my blog didn't really happen ... as shown by this latest post which was shot all the way back in August. Baby B is now almost 9 months old now, but she was only 3 months in these photos - and boy, was she a doll. I've known Ben & Jen for ages - in fact, if it weren't for Jen, I would have never met my husband - so I was truly honored when they asked me to take their family portraits. Baby B was such an easy baby - never fussy and very happy. What a great day!

Miss Gracelynn

I was so excited to be asked to photograph this beautiful little girl again! She has the prettiest blue eyes and just a hint of her mother's auburn hair. This time around, we headed to the Kauffman Gardens - just early enough to beat the heat (or so we thought). Despite a hot & muggy morning, a broken lens & a sick little girl, we managed to get some great shots!

The Hodson Family

Goodness, I'm behind on updating my blog. I did a shoot with this fantastic family all the way back in June! You may recognize their feet - almost everyone in this family helped out with our Ronald McDonald House Red Shoe Shindig shoot (say that 10 times fast). It was a lot of fun to meet up with them again, although mother nature almost kept us from accomplishing this family outing. After 3 rain outs, we finally got some sun (albeit a little too much - this has been one hot summer!) and ended up with some lovely family portraits. I hope to be able to set something up with them again in the future!

The Towns

I'm so in love with my friend's little girl Alivia - just one look into those big blue eyes and you can't help be putty in her hands! They also help make her one heck of a photogenic beauty! It seems this gig comes natural to her - I swear that she's posing in some of these pics! After a quick session in their home, we headed downtown for some urban backdrops. I'm really loving rediscovering our city & finding new and interesting places to photograph!
