The Towns

I'm so in love with my friend's little girl Alivia - just one look into those big blue eyes and you can't help be putty in her hands! They also help make her one heck of a photogenic beauty! It seems this gig comes natural to her - I swear that she's posing in some of these pics! After a quick session in their home, we headed downtown for some urban backdrops. I'm really loving rediscovering our city & finding new and interesting places to photograph!

The McGuire Family

One of the best parts of dabbling in portrait photography is that I get to reconnect with some old friends. I knew Katie in high school, but as is typical when going off to college, we lost touch. But the wonder that is facebook let us catch back up with each other. It is through this fantastic social media tool that I am able to reconnect with old friends (and pick up a little business on the side!) I'm so glad she allowed me to meet her family & catch up over some pictures! Here are my favorites from our shoot in the Crossroads District.

Jane & Lucy

These are a little overdue (the photo session was in February), but better late than never! Thanks to a referral from one of my lovely customer's, I was able to meet Jane and Lucy - 3 month old twins. They were the sweetest little girls and you could tell that even at such a young age, they had a very strong sisterly bond. Here are a few of my favorites from this fun session!

Mr. Finn

This little boy is growing up to be a little man and I couldn't be happier in helping document it all! I first met Finn when he was 8 months old and he's now 15 months - I can't believe how fast time flies! We had a little fun in his casual attire at home and then gussied him up for a day in Loose Park. I love capturing this little guy on film - he gives such great expressions and is so well mannered! I hope to continue watching him grow up! :)

Ronald McDonald House Charities

Woo hoo - my first commercial job! I was asked by some wonderful coworkers of mine to help out with the Ronald McDonald House Red Shoe Shindig and of course I jumped at the chance. It's a great cause & I was more than happy to help out. Plus, I got some really fun photos to display in my portfolio!
